New service of agro insurance for farmers

New service of agro insurance for farmers

A partnership memorandum was signed today between Liberty Bank and New Vision Insurance. The memorandum provides for a simplified offer of insurance and banking products to customers.

The new large-scale project will make it easier for the farmer customers of the Bank to access financial and insurance products and, with a "single window" principle, purchase the services of both Liberty and New Vision Insurance on a single visit to the bank. Agro insurance can be purchased at any Liberty branch, subject to the presentation of identity documents only.

"New Vision Insurance has been operating in the insurance market since 2020 and is already competing with other market players in the field of both corporate and retail insurance. Agro insurance is one of our most important products. Over the past year, we have covered 10% of the market, expanded the agency network, refined the easiness of purchasing the product and covered the whole of Georgia. It is very important for us to have companies as partners that are distinguished by high social responsibility and have mechanisms for creating customer-oriented offers. Today we signed a memorandum with Liberty Bank. Under the partnership, farmers who purchase New Vision Agro Insurance will also be able to benefit from Liberty Bank interest-free installments. Our company will undertake the payment of the interest. I am confident that our cooperation will be very fruitful and together we will offer farmers the simplest, most affordable and most useful product,” said Kakhaber Diasamidze, CEO of New Vision Insurance.

"We are pleased to start working with New Vision Insurance. We start the partnership in the first stage with agro insurance, which is one of the most important components for the development of the agro direction of the country- the farmer is able to insure his / her crop against natural disasters and protect his / her income from risks. It is important for us to increase the awareness of agro insurance in general and at the same time to make useful services even more accessible to our farmer customers. The new project allows us to save the precious time of each farmer and to serve both banking and insurance services throughout the country within one visit to the bank." Said MSME Banking Director, Vazha Menabde.
