Liberty got involved in a mortgage loan subsidy program

Liberty got involved in the state program "Subsidized Mortgage Loans" run by Enterprise Georgia.

Under the program, citizens with many children (3 or more minor children) or parents of newborns (children born between September 1, 2021 and September 1, 2022) will be able to receive a 5-year state subsidy on mortgage loans for both new and old projects and with the aim of building a house.

The maximum amount of a subsidized mortgage loan shall be GEL 200,000.

For loans over GEL 200,000, the remaining amount may be financed by the participation of the borrower or by the bank through a parallel mortgage loan.

If the borrower has 1 or 2 children, the program will subsidize the refinancing rate of the National Bank minus 3.5%, and no more than 6% of the amount.

In case if the borrower has 3 or more children, the program will subsidize the refinancing rate of the National Bank minus 1.5%, not more than 8% of the amount.
