Series of Liberty meetings "Business Dialogue" in Kvemo Kartli

Series of Liberty meetings "Business Dialogue" in Kvemo Kartli

Within the framework of the "Grow Your Business" campaign, Liberty together with its partners met with representatives of agriculture and business in the Kvemo Kartli region in Marneuli. Speakers of "Business Dialogue", representatives of Liberty, Rural Development Agency, state program "Produce in Georgia", "Mercy Corps" and "New Vision" insurance spoke about all the opportunities for the development of agriculture and small business that today can assist the existing companies to further increase their business.

“The goal of Liberty's “Business Dialogue" is to hold direct meetings in the regions with both existing and potential customers in the fields of agro, small and medium businesses. The dialogue format is a good way to get as close as possible to entrepreneurs, to share experiences, to introduce our program supporting partners and to study the needs of agro and business companies locally. Also, to introduce the partnership and funding opportunities with Liberty and future projects planned with our partners. Last year we covered almost all of Georgia and now we visited Kvemo Kartli. Meetings of this type are very fruitful for both the bank and the business, as the mutual sharing of ideas and needs contributes to the creation of new banking offers and close cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses.” – Vazha Menabde, MSME Banking Director of Liberty

"Liberty is an important partner of the Rural Development Agency, especially in the process of implementing systematic programs and direct payments projects. We thank the bank for its active cooperation. The event organized by them is another positive step towards dialogue between the business sector and the state. On behalf of the Rural Development Agency, we provided business representatives of the Shida Kartli region with comprehensive information about our current projects, we talked about all the benefits, be it financial or various types of support, which will help the beneficiaries to manage their businesses effectively. We welcome all initiatives that provide increased access to financial resources for businesses," – Mariam Gelashvili, Head of the Project Development Department of the Rural Development Agency

"It is very important for the agency "Produce in Georgia" to participate in this type of event. At the meeting held by Liberty Bank, the existing state programs were introduced. This is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Business dialogue-type meetings organized by Liberty Bank are a good platform for customers to get comprehensive information about their desired and customized credit products and at the same time to use all the financial benefits that the agency "Produce in Georgia" offers to its potential beneficiaries - loan interest subsidy, the credit-guarantee mechanism and grant programs, - Irakli Veshaguri, Program Manager of the Department of Small and Medium Business Development.

"New Vision Insurance" supports Liberty's "Business Dialogue" initiative, which covers all of Georgia. For us, as one of the partners of Liberty, such meetings in the regions are important. We are glad that we were given the opportunity, this time in the Kvemo Kartli region, to once again introduce our insurance products and plans to the business sector. We hope the insurance will help them grow their business,” – Zaza Khosroshvili, Member of the Supervisory Board of "New Vision Insurance".

"Mercy Corps Georgia, with the financial assistance of Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the strategic partnership with Liberty, is implementing a large-scale project, Youth Entrepreneurship for Rural Development (RDYE), in 18 municipalities of Georgia, the purpose of which is to deepen entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, access to finance and facilitation of market connections. We think that the initiative of the Bank - "Business Dialogue" is a good opportunity to meet the small and medium-sized business representatives employed in the regions and to introduce the progress of the implementation of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program in the regions and the expected positive results. We also welcome all the initiatives that will promote the formation of connections between young entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs. – Ucha Varamashvili, “Youth entrepreneurship for rural development" project director.
