Liberty and the Millennium Innovation Competition

The Millennium Innovation Competition aims to encourage high school students to create innovative solutions and explore new technologies, while also increasing interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.

In 2024, the competition featured 11 finalist teams from schools in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Senaki, Batumi, Zugdidi, Akhmeta, and Mtskheta. The teams presented projects in the areas of space, aviation, robotics, mobile technology and apps, environmental protection, healthcare, energy, and transportation.

  • First place and the grand prize from the U.S. Embassy – a trip to the NASA Space Center Summer School – was awarded to team "Marine Guard".
  • Second place – team "Starfish".
  • Third place – team "Pest Patrol". Thanks to Liberty Bank's sponsorship, this team will take part in an educational visit to CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland!
